DMT known as the spirit molecule is supposed to be produced in pineal gland connected to Ajna Chakra. The pineal gland is pea-sized gland located in the geometric centre of the brain. This gland is connected to Ajna chakra which is known as third eye. The chemical name of DMT is N,N-dimethyltryptamine is naturally produced psychedelic molucule connected to many experiences mystical/spiritual states of consciousness,Near Death Experiences (NDE) and birth experiences.
According to Strassman’s hypothesis, the pineal gland releases high amounts of DMT at extraordinary times in our lives.
